In the logistics industry, "Pallet" refers to "pallet", and pallets in logistics refer to a certain number of scattered goods into the form of pallets for easy loading and unloading, reduce cargo damage, improve packing efficiency, and reduce logistics costs -- that is, the process of Palletization from bulk cargo to pallet cargo.

In international logistics, the transport of goods is often required to hit the pallet. So, what are the benefits of beating the tray, and what are the precautions?

The benefits of beating pallets

The purpose and benefits of palleting are: to reduce the number of loose goods, reduce the probability of losing goods (after all, the probability of losing a pallet is much lower than the probability of losing a small box of goods), and after the palleting, the goods as a whole are more solid, and there is no need to worry about the deformation of goods. Of course, after the goods hit the pallet, it will also reduce the space utilization rate when the goods are coded. But it reduces the time it takes to get the goods. Because you can directly use the forklift truck to put the goods into the loader.

Pallet operation steps

The first step: the first is the preparation of materials: pallets, stretch film, packing tape.

The second step: followed by the worker code goods: the code goods are divided into 4 flowers, 5 flowers, 6 flowers, etc., according to the proportion of goods and pallets for appropriate distribution.

The third step: Finally, the packing belt (if the customer needs) wrapping film: can play a fixed goods will not fall apart, can also play a role in moisture, the most important is to facilitate loading and unloading.

Pallet precautions

1. the goods label on the pallet should face out, so that the bar code on each carton can be scanned without moving.

2. when the goods pallet is used, the pallet fork should be in a place that is convenient for the equipment to be handled to cooperate with the use of the equipment.

3. when stacking goods, it is not recommended to exceed the edge of the pallet, try to choose the size and type of tray more suitable for this product;

4. do not use damaged or unidentified pallets.

5. when there are multiple different categories of goods shipped on a pallet, the goods are packaged separately so that it is not easy to cause errors when receiving the goods. Labels indicating different types of goods are recommended.

6. it is recommended to stack the heaviest goods at the bottom of the cargo tray.

7. do not let the carton beyond the edge of the tray.

8. the pallet must be close to the standard height, to allow tray gaps and stacking opportunities.

9. Use winding film to support the carton to ensure that the winding film completely covers the goods on the pallet, which can prevent the falling of the moving goods in transportation, and ensure the stability of the stacked pallets in transportation.
