Yiwu, Zhejiang At 18:00 on March 2, the international cargo flight B757 of YTO Airlines returned from Manila Airport in the Philippines and landed at Yiwu Airport in Zhejiang Province. This marked the official opening of the Yiwu-Manila Philippines international cargo route.

The international freight routes opened this time mainly focus on cross-border e-commerce, market-purchased trade goods and some anti-epidemic materials. In the near future, there will be 2 shifts a week (executed every Wednesday and Friday), and gradually increase to 3 shifts a week.

This route is the second international cargo route opened by Yiwu Airport after going to Osaka, opening up an air cargo route from Yiwu to Southeast Asia.

The cargo plane will take off from Yiwu Airport at 0:30 on March 3 for Manila, Philippines. The cargo plane will carry 22 tons of goods, mainly Yiwu cross-border e-commerce goods exported to Southeast Asian countries, and 30 pieces of 8 tons of anti-epidemic materials exported to the Middle East.

In recent years, Yiwu cross-border e-commerce has developed rapidly. Shopee and Lazada, two cross-border e-commerce platforms with Southeast Asian countries as their main bases, have deployed warehouses in Yiwu, with average daily shipments reaching 10-20 tons and 8 tons respectively. -10 tons.

Data show that in 2020, Yiwu's trade with ASEAN will grow rapidly, with a total import and export value of 35.21 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.9%.

The opening of this route will help Yiwu's cross-border e-commerce exports to Southeast Asian countries to be more efficient and convenient and effectively reduce corporate logistics costs.
