On July 22, Mediterranean Shipping Company will continue to expand and strengthen its route network in Asia, adding a new seahorse service and updating four existing routes from week 30.

These enhanced intra Asian networks provide direct connectivity and competitive transit time for long haul cargo from Greater China and Southeast Asia, as well as full port coverage between Indonesia, China, Taiwan, the Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand.

In addition to launching seahorse routes, we have also optimized and updated the three routes connecting with Chinese ports. For example, our new origami route is newly added to Xiamen, and the Lang co express route is added to Yantian and Shekou.

Our latest route services will seamlessly connect with our other services in Asia, the global ocean liner network, and inland and barge services in Asia. Prior to this, customers' demand for new services is increasing, and they hope to transport goods between major regions in Asia.

The reduced transportation time will make it more efficient to import coconut products and wood products from Indonesia.

Benefits to customers:

1. Facilitate more intra Asian freight transport through eight direct connection points.

2. MSc's first route from Jakarta to Yantian shortened the transportation time by 9 days.

3. Through the reasonable deployment of MSC ships, the shipping capacity is increased and the shipping time is improved.
